About Me
I'm Emily Burnham, a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist passionate about helping individuals and couples move beyond burnout, emotional overwhelm, and relationship struggles to experience deeper healing and lasting change.
I've always been fascinated by relationships—how people connect, why they disconnect, and what helps them find each other again. Throughout my teenage years, I witnessed conflict, abuse, and divorce within many of my family members' marriages. It left me wondering whether healthy, deeply connected relationships truly existed. That question eventually became my calling and led me to pursue a career in marriage and family therapy.
Today, I'm passionate about helping people reconnect—with themselves, their loved ones, and the life they want to create. I believe healing is about more than simply reducing symptoms. Lasting change happens when we care for the whole person—mind, body, emotions, relationships, and, for those who desire it, faith.

About My Approach
My approach is grounded in attachment science and trauma-informed care (EMDR). I have advanced training in EFT, and my work is also informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing, allowing me to integrate emotional, relational, cognitive, and nervous system perspectives into the healing process. Every person has a unique story, and I strive to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as we work together toward meaningful, lasting change.
Whether you're navigating burnout, anxiety, relationship challenges, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, my goal is to help you cultivate greater emotional safety, resilience, and connection so you can move forward with confidence and hope.
I consider it a privilege to walk alongside people during some of life's most vulnerable moments. Healing isn't about becoming someone different—it's about becoming more fully yourself.
